Between 2018 and 2021 my practice focused on socially engaged and participatory work exploring themes of housing, class, stigma and systems of care. Through collaborative projects, workshops and dialogue with participants, the work created spaces for people to reflect on their experiences of living within social and political structures that shape everyday life.
Often working with text, digital media and shared documentation, these projects brought together personal narratives, research and collective reflection to question how systems intended to support individuals can also marginalise or exclude them. This period of work established the social and political concerns that continue to underpin my practice today.
